Potsdam

Took the train to the Sanssouci Park in Potsdam on Sunday, about a 30 minute trip from Berlin. The site is a large park surrounding Sanssouci Palace and contains a number of structures, gardens and fountains.
One of two buildings known as Communs which housed the royal kitchens, utilities, gardeners’ shops, palace guards and servants.

  1. This looks like a lovely place to spend a day. Did you enjoy it? I was just comparing the temperatures in Potsdam 19°C with 43% humidity to Altona 23° with 65% humidity. Am enjoying your posts! Pretty amazing that they're being read all over the world (I noticed that Michelle had commented yesterday). Hard to believe that in 2 weeks they will be on their way back to Edmonton.
